But there was better news for Arsene Wenger as the knee injury sustained by Alexis Sanchez against Leicester on Tuesday has been deemed not serious, while Jack Wilshere is set to return to action against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup this weekend.
Ramsey broke down with his third hamstring injury of the season in the win over Leicester.

He was eventually subbed in the second half, and later tweeted: ‘Sometimes the love for the game and anxiety to be on a football pitch works against you.’
Sanchez’s post raised fears of a injury lay-off, but he should be available — if selected — for Sunday’s visit of Middlesbrough.
