Lest you thought that the Washington Redskins' discord was limited to their owner and head coach and general manager and quarterback ...
Ha! Silly, silly you.

No, the Redskins' dysfunction is widespread, and it extends to both the defensive side of the ball and not just to head coaches, but also assistants.
Check out what former Redskins linebacker London Fletcher said about current Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett, who has been with the team since before current head coach Jay Gruden arrived.
Speak your mind, London. It helps to get it all out. Anything else?
Shanahan was canned, but Haslett was kept. The Redskins have ranked in the bottom 12 in the NFL in each of the past five seasons Haslett has been coaching the defense.
Hey, London, give us more, will ya?
See, that's the dangerous thing. The Redskins have clearly been led to believe that Haslett is the opposite of what Fletcher is describing, hence his survival of a head-coaching move when Shanahan was fired and Gruden was brought in. Perhaps Haslett is Snyder's mole on the team, letting the owner know what's going on behind closed doors, and really isn't actually coaching the defense at all.
OK, we're kidding about that last part. Kinda.
